Origami is so Money

I went on a lot of road-trips in college, and if you’ve ever driven from Virginia to New York then you know that you wind up getting pretty creative with ways to entertain yourself.

Which is why, upon arriving at Vassar, my friend discovered that all her money had been folded into origami bow ties and neatly placed back in her wallet. (The pizza guy was surprisingly delighted to be paid in a handful of bows)

However, I had no idea there was a whole wide world of monetary origami. Apparently currency cries out for folding, and I’ve barely scratched the surface!

I’m heading to the bank right now to take out all my money in one dollar bills…
